Daily: Day Trip to Heidi's Village

This past weekend was Golden Week. Golden Week is a collection of four national holidays all clustered together within seven days. This year we didn't really have a full week off, instead there was a 3 day weekend, followed by 3 work days and then finished off with a 4 day holiday. We didn't have anything planned for GW as we felt it would be too crowed and didn't feel like spending the extra cash.
A friend in the area suggested we all visit Heidi's Village, which was a quick 20 bus ride away from home.
Heidi's Village is based on the book Heidi by Johanna Spyri. It's about a girl who grows up in the Alps with her grandfather.
Anywho, here are some photos of the day:

Thank you for reading!
Have a great day!

  5. When I was a kid (back in Switzerland) I used to watch that version of Heidi! ^_^ Of course, it was dubbed in German. Brings back memories. I should go there next time I'm in Japan. ^__^
What was the best part of the village?
